Toora’s Heira and Women and Children programs are safe and supportive spaces for women and children escaping domestic violence. Our specialist staff provide case management and offer a wide range of emotional and practical support to address the impacts of violence and abuse. We work with women by providing a safe and supportive space to make independent decisions and take more control of their lives.

Women are supported by their own case worker from intake and assessment throughout their individual journey. Toora staff ensure they receive a full wrap-around service of supports needed to achieve their goals.

Our case coordinators have been professionally trained and have specialised skills in community services including managing, coordinating and delivering person-centred services to individuals.

In 2018, the ACT Attorney-General declared Toora Women Inc. a Crisis Accommodation Provider.
