Aleta Outreach Program

Who is eligible?

Any woman, 16 years or older, who is homeless or at risk of homelessness due to various reasons including domestic and family violence, and who may need assistance with sustaining their tenancy.

We also support women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds who have no permanent residency to address their immigration issues.

Cost

Case management services are free.

Referral process

Referrals to the Aleta Outreach Program can come from OneLink 1800 176 468 and the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (02) 6280 0900other community organisations or by self-referral.

Our support services to our clients include:

  • Supporting women to understand their options and make decisions about their lives
  • Safety planning
  • Accessing legal advice and court support
  • Support with building independent life skills and a community support network

Clients are supported by their own case worker from intake and assessment throughout their individual journey. Toora staff ensure they receive a full wrap-around service of supports needed to achieve their goals.

Our case coordinators have been professionally trained and have specialised skills in community services including managing, coordinating and delivering person-centred services to individuals.
