Your generosity creates safer futures
Thereโs more than one way to change a life. Whether you give money, goods, time, or skills, your support helps women and families in Canberra find safety, stability and the chance to rebuild.
Donate Money
Your gift creates real change
Every donation you make helps women and families escape violence, homelessness and addiction. Whether you choose a one-off gift or monthly support, your generosity brings safety, healing and hope – directly impacting lives in our community. Giving is simple, secure and meaningful.
How your donation helps
Your contribution funds safe housing, counselling and essential services for women rebuilding their lives. Even small donations add up to big changes – helping women find security, access support programs and regain control over their futures.
Your donation will help a woman and her children to have a home, escape domestic violence, reach ongoing sobriety goals, address past trauma and resultant mental health challenges or gain skills to re-enter her community and the workforce. Donations also help us provide women and their children with meals, basic household items like bedding, toiletries and furniture and access to safe transport.
How to give with confidence
At Toora, we understand that deciding to donate is an important choice. Thatโs why we make the process as simple, safe and flexible as possible. You can choose to give a one-time gift or set up a regular monthly donation that fits your budget and lifestyle. Every donation over $2 is tax-deductible, and we provide a receipt to keep for your records. Our secure online donation system protects your information, giving you peace of mind.
We are committed to transparency and ensure that your generosity goes directly to supporting women and families escaping violence, homelessness and addiction. Your contribution funds vital services that create lasting change. Whether you give $10 or $1,000, your support is valued and powerful. Together, we are building safer futures – thank you for being part of this journey.
